Why watch when you can play the stream?
Bringing interactive streaming, stores and monetisation to mobile players
Noice

Noice is a live-streaming platform that transforms passive viewing into an interactive experience. It features a card game that lets you predict actions in real-time while watching streams from your favorite creators.
What I worked on
User flows, look & feel, interactions, prototyping, UI/UX design.
As the sole designer in the team, I worked closely with product managers, game teams, and designers. I worked across product and visual design to help launch and scale the Noice app designing and iterating on key features.

The challenge
With ~60% of our users accessing the product via mobile, it became clear that the responsive web experience wasn’t meeting their needs. As the user base grew, we prioritised delivering a seamless app experience that met expectations and aligned with familiar mobile patterns.

Integrated Noice Store lets players effortlessly buy credits and unlock cards
Integrated platform and creator-specific stores, allowing users to purchase credits, card bundles, and unlock new cards.
Subscribe to your favorite creator
Delivered subscription and gifting features that empower viewers to support creators, forming a key monetization channel for content.
Stream and Chat interactions
Enhanced the live watching and prediction experience with social and chat interactions, configurable stream settings, and community safety tools.
Stream and card prediction game
Enhanced the live watching and prediction game experience.
Outcomes
Users were happy with the beta version because it feels smoother than the web version.
Overall, the feedback was positive, though users asked for many of the features offered on the web version.
